When are applications open?
Tuesday 14 May – Wednesday 1 August.
How long does the program run for?
The entire programme will run over a period of 18 months.
When will I know if my online application has been accepted?
You will be contacted within four weeks, and at least one week before the first round of interviews.
If I am currently completing my Honours/Masters degree, can I apply?
Yes, providing you are completing the degree in 2019.
When will I know if I have been accepted as a graduate, after both interview rounds?
8 August 2019
When will I start to work as a graduate?
Monday 3rd February 2020, at 08:00.
Will I earn a salary?
Yes, as a graduate you will enter into a full time employee contract with competitive industry rates.
Where will I be working?
Primary placements will be at either of our offices in Tygervalley in Cape Town, or Sandton in Johannesburg. It is possible that any of your three rotations will be at the alternative location for the duration of the rotation.
Which graduate expenses are covered by SIG, over and above salary?
SIG will manage and cover the cost of flights, daily commutes and accommodation for graduate rotations away from your primary placement.
How does leave work?
You are entitled to 30 days of leave over the 18 months.
Following the programme, if I am offered a permanent position in a region that is in a different region to where I currently live, will Sanlam Investment Group assist in relocating me?
Yes, Sanlam Investment Group will help cover expenses related to relocation.
