    This role requires an individual to:

    • Undertake specialist feasibility analysis, evaluations or business projects and advises on the optimisation of resources and profitability of projects or resources.
    • Conduct business related special studies and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action to the business.
    • Analyses information to determine present and future performance.
    • Evaluates plans, operating records and any other related material.
    • Make recommendations to management regarding opportunities, progress and improvement strategies.
    • May research and prepare reports on related subjects.
    • May be required to consolidate the business plans and the financial forecasts.

    Degree

    B Sc Computer Science or relevant IT tertiary qualification and or relevant FTI/ IT qualification.

  • Analyst developer - Cape Town

    This role requires an individual to:

    • Work mainly within Object Orientated Application Environments designs, codes, tests, debugs and corrects programs in development in OO environments.
    • May also provide support and maintenance of computer systems.
    • Produces complex program specifications and implements system enhancements.
    • Work within a strict framework of programming standards and may give input into programming standards and applies Main Frame, Desktop and Embedded Technologies.
    • Delivering results with IT development language and types such as Java and C++.

  • IT Service Desk / desk side support - Cape Town

    This role requires an individual to:

    • Be responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for higher-level problem resolution and advice on both new and established systems.
    • Give telephonic support on systems.
    • Conducts trend analysis of series data to determine common occurrences and recurring issues.
    • Determine absolute cause of problems by either recreating the issues in a test environment or reviewing system design.
    • Co-ordinate and ensure that adequate training is provided for users.
    • Act as liaison between users and information technology department on problem areas.
    • Manage the incident to completion.
